Spring is here and we’re gearing up for a fantastic farmers market season! During the offseason, we’ve been working hard to learn all we can about farmers markets and how to make ours the best it can be!
March 7th – 9th was the InTents Farmers Market Conference in beautiful San Diego, CA where we gained expert instruction and inspiration while connecting with like-minded individuals. It was especially interesting to learn about the upcoming Anti-Racist Toolkit and was a great catalyst to help us consider how racial equity is affected through our own market.
March 14th was the annual Montana Farmers Market Networking Meeting in Helena which was packed with market managers from around the state. We learned about new statewide marketing opportunities, farmers market nutrition programs, and just what Senate Bill (SB)199 really means for our markets.
For the month of April, we look forward to participating in the 21-Day Racial Habit Building Challenge!
Here’s to getting off on the right foot for the 2022 market season!
